When I get anxious I like to rearrange the furniture in my bedroom. There's only one problem with this; my bedroom is the size of a match box.
So, I have had this room set up in every single configuration possible at least twice in the 6 years I have lived here since returning from my life as an independent adult. It wouldn't be so bad if I had somewhere else to keep my worldly belongings.
I want out. Out costs money.

I fell into a burning ring of fire. True story.
Ok, not really.
I just spent the day watching Walk The Line. Including watching the whole film with the director's commentary and all the extras with commentary. Kudos to people who know stuff about stuff, I'm impressed.
I think I now love Joaquin Phoenix almost as much as I love Johnny Depp. Nah, maybe not but it's getting up there.

Shoes
Stupid shoes.
Yesterday I saw a woman who had high heel shoes where the toe didn't touch the ground. It meant all the pressure would be on the ball of the foot. That's torture and people do it voluntarily. Crazy shit! If someone told me I had to wear shoes like that, I would confess. I don't know what I would confess to but I would find something.

Canberra...
Canberra is a really good place to live because:
- It's small - you can drive across it in 40 minutes
- It's quiet - nothing ever happens
- Peak hour only occurs for a total of 2 hours a day
- You can't get lost because all the round-a-bouts spin you in a circle
- There are no tolls on the roads
- ummmmm
- Nothing ever happens here
- Stuff happens in other places and you have to travel to participate
- It's freezing bloody cold for 6 months of the year
- We are rarely rewarded with snow for suffering through the bitter bloody cold
- It's scorching hot in summer
- The ocean is 300km away
- Whilst the politicians never actually do anything here, Canberra is blamed for all the shit they get up to
- They build roads that instantly need extra lanes
- They have roadworks going on every major road at the same time
- Canberra just seems to be one of those ideas that people thought would turn out awesome but it kinda failed so now it just exists
- Ireland because that's where my ancestors are from. I know hardly anything about my history and I feel somewhat lost
- Canada because it looks like a cool place to live and it actually snows and I want to make a snow angel
- Arizona because it has a cool name and a desert. Apparently it is landlocked but it looks like the beach would still be closer than it is here
- California because there's a beach (that much I know) and I can be a surfer dude even though the only time I ever surfed I got hit by the board and lost a nipple piercing as a result but I'm pretty sure if I tried to surf in California it would work.
- New York because I think it would be terrifyingly awesome. I want to experience hustle and bustle for a while so when I inevitably return to Canberra I will appreciate the nothingness it has to offer.

It's not a good Idea
It's not a good idea to make creme caramel on Friday the 13th. It ends up in the sink and you have to eat it with a spoon avoiding the bottom layer that is touching the sink. The caramel also won't work. This is a fact. A sad fact.
It is a good idea to have a steamboat though. This is actually not a large water-craft powered by steam, it is a vessel for cooking food around the table. It's actually made entirely of awesome.

Just What Do I Make This Blog About?
At this point, with this whole blog thing being new, I have to ask myself what I should actually make it about. Maybe it should just be random stuff. Since no one besides me even knows it exists I guess I can make it about anything.
I will start by saying stuff about me and stuff I like.
I'm newly 32 years old.
I have a dog who is totally cool and very popular. I guess he is everything I never managed to be.
I look like this sometimes:
Although my hair is longer now.
My ears look like this:
My back looks like this: Actually, there's more than that now but I don't have a photo.
Needless to say, I like these:
Which includes flying in those and taking photos like these.
I like other stuff but I don't want to peak too early so it can wait.
